Buffettes Shoe Shine was established in 2011 by two females fresh out of college in sunny south Florida. How did we get ourselves into shoe shining you ask? It all started when we were working as freelance promotional models for Remy Martin Cognac. At the time, they were running a promotion in which consumers were issued a sample of cognac by a male model while also receiving a complimentary Shoe Shine by a female. The feedback we received was not only fantastic, but it encouraged and motivated us to start a mobile shoe shine service of our own. Shoe shining in south Florida has become a lost art form that we are passionate about bringing back. When you give your leather kicks some tender love and care, it not only makes them look brand new, but it makes them last a lot longer protecting against weather, environment and your daily wear and tear. Having a shined pair of shoes is a valuable asset to your professional attire and continues to be an important part of grooming that will never go unnoticed!

DOC IT was founded by Martha Casado and Susie Casado in 2006. Martha was diagnosed at 47 with stage 4 ovarian cancer and died three years later. Martha fought till the end because of her children and her family. At the same time, she was determined to help other woman avoid what she had to go through and make a difference in the lives of women. Martha wanted the world to know what ovarian cancer was and how devastating it is to become a victim of it. Martha died on November 4, 2008, but her will to live and her passion inspired everyone that met her. DOC IT Is dedicated to promoting awareness about this disease, the subtle signs and symptoms. Usually called "the silent killer" many women dont know they have it and by the time they realize they do, is too late, the survival rate is very low. On the other hand, when found early (stage I) the survival rate is over 90%! Awareness is crucial and DOC IT wants to spread the word! In addition, DOC IT is raising money for FIU's Ovarian Cancer Research, their ovarian cancer treatment with nanotechnology was successful in the lab. We want to help them go to the next level!
